So I went over the old blonde and went further up the hair
so the blonde started closer to the roots.
I back combed my hair and then painted on medium lift bleach
which I left to develop for 30 minutes.
I then dyed over the whole of my hair
with medium ash blonde dye to eliminate copper tones and also blend the blonde
a bit.
I naturally have dark blonde/light brown hair that in the
sun gets blonde highlights. But despite this I had been scared to go to light
with my hair until now. However I decided to go for it this time with ‘its only
hair’ running through my mind.
If I didn’t like it I was ready to dye my hair back to
brunette. But luckily for the health of my hair I loved it and after having a
trim on the ends the health of my hair hasn’t suffered too much.
