Favourites: February

MUSIC

Album – Flyleaf: Between the Stars

I can listen to this album from start to finish over and over without getting bored and that is something I love. Since I started driving I think it’s so much easier to just listen to an album knowing you don’t have to get annoyed when a song you don’t like comes on.
I used to listen to Flyleaf with their old lead singer and love the fact that with the new singer it’s like there a new band but still have the flyleaf feel. Whereas there old songs all had a religious tone these are more general life songs. I love Marionette in particularly.

Song – Echosmith: Bright

Maybe it’s because of the video but this song just reminds me of summer and I love it. It’s happy and fun and I can’t stop listening to it.

LIFE

Food – Sweet and Salty Popcorn

After discovering this just before Christmas this has been my go to snack. I only go for the ones that are low calorie because there less syns. For people that may be interested this metcalfe’s skinny topcorn ones are only 4 syns.

TV Series – Eye Candy

I discovered this series 2 weeks ago when it was 5 episodes in and binge watched those 5 episodes, not once but twice. I love the depth of the story and the characters. Lindy is a hacker whose sister goes missing and as she searches for her sister she becomes caught up at the centre of a murder/stalker case.

Game – Tomb Raider

Because I am always late to the bandwagon I recently brought a PS3 (yes I know there is a ps4 now). Even though I played tomb raider on the boyfriends PS3 I decided to replay it and put some more time into it. I loved tomb raider when I was little and love seeing the start of her story unfold.

BEAUTY

Make-up – Maybelline Color Tattoo: On and On Bronze

Another thing that I am completely late to get on the bandwagon for. This has been my go to base eye shadow for practically the whole of February and I’ve even wore it on its own with some mascara when I’m feeling completely lazy.

Hair – Charles Worthington Salon at Home Moisture Seal Leave in Conditioner

Having lately bleached my hair I need to inject as much moisture into my hair as I can and this truly does what it says and seals in the moisture.

Fashion – High Waisted Black Jeans

After recently going down a size I was seriously lacking in the jean department. So I went to Matalan to pick up a reasonable pair of black jeans. I found some high waisted ones and fell in love with the fit. I’m so happy that they fit especially as I never used to be able to get away with high waisted jeans at all!
