Today I thought I would give you a little sneak peek into
how I store my makeup. I will admit that it is messy and I need a better system
inside my drawers but other than that I’m fairly happy with how I store it.
I
use the Ikea Alex drawers with the top 3 for makeup and the rest for hair stuff
and nail varnishes. Inside the drawers I have inserts which I got from Ikea
(I’m pretty sure they were only 80p!).
The
top drawer has all my moisturisers, make up removers etc. I really need
to find some drawer inserts to help organise this drawer a little more.
The second drawer has my face products. I have foundations
and concealers at the front and then blushes highlighters and bronzers at the
back.
The third drawer holds all my eye makeup. The front hold my
eyeshadows and eyebrow products, the back holds eyeliners and then the side has
all my eyeshadow pallets and my mascaras are at the front. I really need more
organisation for this drawer but I haven’t worked out what to do yet. Any
suggestions in the comments would be appreciated!
As well as using these drawers I also keep all my lip products
on the top of my chest of drawers along with my makeup brushes.
For my brushes I use a mug for eye brushes and a vase that I’ve
spray painted copper for my face brushes.
My lipsticks are all kept in a holder from eBay and then my
lip liners and glosses (basically anything in stick form!) are kept in a mug
and a small glass pot.
