Making Resolutions!

Hope everyone has had an amazing Christmas and new year!

I am so ready for a new year to begin its unreal. I know this year may be another year that I spend a lot of time recovering from an operation but honestly I still think this will be a great.

I’m not usually one for making New Year’s resolutions well at least not officially. I’ve made the odd one in my head like ‘this year I will lose weight and exercise more’ (who hasn’t made that resolution) but I’ve never really wrote them down or made them happen. However this year I want to not only write down my resolutions but make steps to actually make them happen.

I am going to try to be realistic and I’d say that only one of them is something I may struggle with but I’m going to try and in the end that’s what matters.

I have 3 New Year’s resolutions that are:

  • Start taking more photographs! – When I stopped being a freelance photographer I sort of just stopped taking photographs but I still love photography and I want to make an effort to get back into it.
  • Be more active - I want to make an effort to go more places and explore! I also want to get back into exercising (I know its that good old traditional resolution!) and think going for more walks would be a good way to do this and explore more all at the same time!
  • Stop dying my hair (the one that may be difficult) – I will admit that I have a pretty serious addiction to dying my hair! My brother-in-law to be recently pointed out that every time he sees me my hair is a different colour (so every 2 months or so). After recently stripping away the red I will now only be dying my hair with semi permanent dye! Hopefully this will help it to grow healthily and I'll get the long hair I've been craving!

I’d love to know your New Year’s resolutions and any exciting plans you have for the New Year!
