Discovering Old Film Photo's

So I’ve had a film in my film camera now for 3 years and in the summer I finally finished it. However I didn’t get it developed.

Last week I decided that I would take it into boots and have it developed just to see what was on it (since I don’t know how to develop film myself). I didn’t really expect it to be anything worth having I was just curious. For a starters the camera cost my dad £20 from his friend so I didn’t even know if it was any good.

When I got the photos and had a look through though I was pleasantly surprised.

Some of the photos were rubbish or the lighting was wrong but mostly there was a lot of good ones! I was very proud of myself! So today I thought I would share some of my favourite ones with you.

I did try and scan them in but my scanner isn’t working atm and I really don’t know why so instead of waited for my dad (aka the resident tech guy) to get home I went the old fashioned route and took photos of the photos.

I love this photographs not simply because I think they are good but because there mostly from the last trip to the safari park I had with my parents and sister which used to be a tradition we did every summer.

Some are also from my back garden and I can remember taking them just to try and fill up some of the film and having so much fun doing it.

Others are more recent (the pig one) and come from a trip to a local farm with my brother this summer which was just a really nice day out filled with lots and lots of pigs since it seemed to be all the animals Sandwell Farm have now!
