Top 5 Drugstore: Face
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhE56yjEiSSZ1fE43hl30UgP3KSbRCywp7i7SwF4g2bJSuNZZWYCEqk945vVvBT5_rtqM2oh52o_gefIUiRWYkkNUMx-elphEVNkdPvN3nXN63OHg3ufhwXGhaYxBvOuuurBDsVFAbymUA/s1600/IMG_0175.jpg)
After a friend recently asked me for advice on what make up she could add to her basic routine I got inspired to add a bit of beauty back into this little blog.
I only really use drugstore brands as I find I can generally find what I’m looking for. So I thought I would share my top 5 face, eyes and lip products in a 3 part series.
Up first is the face products! I’ve tried to put a product for every category in here. I realise there is no concealer but I don’t think I’ve found one I love yet.

Photo Set: Tufty Bear!
Today’s going to be a different kind of post. I said before I
wanted to share more of my photography on here, so I’ve decided to do a feature
called photo sets that will be where I share photographs I’ve taken recently
with you.
From now on the posts will probably be just photographs but I
thought I’d put some text in this one to explain! Hope you enjoy!

Getting Lost in a Good Story...
Does anyone else get where they watch a film or read a book
and it sticks with them for days or even weeks after wards? I’m sure I can’t be
the only one that gets way too attached to the stories and characters.

Discovering Old Film Photo's
So I’ve had a film in my film camera now for 3 years and in
the summer I finally finished it. However I didn’t get it developed.
Last week I decided that I would take it into boots and have
it developed just to see what was on it (since I don’t know how to develop film
myself). I didn’t really expect it to be anything worth having I was just
curious. For a starters the camera cost my dad £20 from his friend so I didn’t even
know if it was any good.
When I got the photos and had a look through though I was pleasantly
surprised.

Making Resolutions!
Hope everyone has had an amazing Christmas and new year!
I am so ready for a new year to begin its unreal. I know this year may be another year that I spend a lot of time recovering from an operation but honestly I still think this will be a great.
I’m not usually one for making New Year’s resolutions well
at least not officially. I’ve made the odd one in my head like ‘this year I
will lose weight and exercise more’ (who hasn’t made that resolution) but I’ve
never really wrote them down or made them happen. However this year I want to not only
write down my resolutions but make steps to actually make them happen.
I am going to try to be realistic and I’d say that only one
of them is something I may struggle with but I’m going to try and in the end
that’s what matters.
I have 3 New Year’s resolutions that are:
- Start taking more photographs! – When I stopped being a freelance photographer I sort of just stopped taking photographs but I still love photography and I want to make an effort to get back into it.
- Be more active - I want to make an effort to go more places and explore! I also want to get back into exercising (I know its that good old traditional resolution!) and think going for more walks would be a good way to do this and explore more all at the same time!
- Stop dying my hair (the one that may be difficult) – I will admit that I have a pretty serious addiction to dying my hair! My brother-in-law to be recently pointed out that every time he sees me my hair is a different colour (so every 2 months or so). After recently stripping away the red I will now only be dying my hair with semi permanent dye! Hopefully this will help it to grow healthily and I'll get the long hair I've been craving!
I’d love to know your New Year’s resolutions and any
exciting plans you have for the New Year!
