I may have mentioned my love for Wicked before here on the blog but if I
haven’t let me just tell you I am OBSESSED!! It started when I heard Defying
Gravity on some award show and then I read the book and listened to the rest of
the music and I was hooked.
It probably helped that the wizard of Oz was my favourite when I was younger.
Now I had this huge obsession with this musical that I had actually never seen. Until yesterday.
Knowing about my obsession when it came to Birmingham my Mom decided to buy me her and my sister tickets to go see it. And let me tell you it did not disappoint!
It is easily one of the best things I've ever seen at the theatre and I've been at least once a year since I was a child.
The story was told perfectly and had the audience laughing at the right moments and the tension building when it needed to. The cast was also perfect each fitting their role perfectly and having the ideal voices for their songs.
I would go see this again tomorrow if I could!
