Today I thought I’d do a little tufty update since the last
time I spoke about him he was a sick little bunny.
He is so much better now. He’s put the weight he lost back
on plus more and he’s back to his cheeky little self. The only thing that has
changed with him is the way he holds his ears. He’s always been able to put one
up and one down but he wouldn’t just sit with them like that. Now however he
constantly has one ear up and one down which is something he started when he
was ill.
Since he was ill I have switched him to just pellet food
rather than the mix of pellet and muesli he was getting. I also limit much more
than before the amount of treats and carrot that he gets. Carrots despite been
associated with rabbits are actually not that beneficial to them so you’re
supposed to limit the amount they have. However before he got ill he would get
all the carrot peel every time we had them so yeah he was getting way more than
he should of.
Apart from that he is still a crazy rabbit and I’m not
really sure how he knows but I’m sure he knows what the camera means and he absolutely
hates it! Now he’s constantly in his hutch he has more stuff to play with in
his home. We got him a cardboard tunnel a while ago and he has only just
discovered that it’s there for him to destroy so now when I clean him there’s a
mass amount of cardboard!
