12 Days of Blogmas Day 1: Top 5 Winter Lips

I don’t think I’ve really done many lip related posts before which is weird since I am probably a bit of a lipstick hoarder. Since I have many lip products I thought I would show you my top 5 to wear at this time of year.
Some of these are products that I have loved for a long time but some are new discoveries. I am cheating just a little bit as most have a lip liner with them but that’s how I wear them so I thought I would show you the way I actually wear them!

Lip liner is something that I’ve only recently started to wear. I used to try and fail with it but recently I’ve been loving it and don’t ask me what’s changed because I do not know ha-ha.

So without further ague (is that spelt right?) here’s my lip looks!  BTW I apologise for my extremely dry lips in the pictures!

1.
Sleek LinerBourjois Rouge Edition Velvet This is the best lip combo I have found in a long time! This lipstick just lasts forever and I’m sure that it’s not just because of the liner!

2.

Revlon Colorstain Moisture StainMaybelline Color Drama I love this combo but I also love that each product can be worn individually and still works really well! I tend to wear the two of them together though because I have dry lips and sometimes on its own Maybelline color drama can emphasise this.

3.

MUA LipstickCollection Liner This is the only nude lip that has actually made it into my top 5, I realise on the lips it doesn't look that nude but I have naturally dark lips. I like the sheen finish of this lipstick and it lasts pretty well as well which is always a bonus!

The Revlon lip butters are an old favourite for me, I was obsessed with this colour last year! And this year I find myself reaching for it when I want a dark lip but not to dark and heavy.

5.

MUA LipstickMUA Lip Liner Finally we have a dark red that I discovered when I was going to pick up a new Kate Moss 107 lipstick. I picked up this because the shades look very similar but this is only £1 and it’s not matte so I don’t find it as drying on my lips as the Kate moss one. I line with a plum liner rather than a red to bring out the darkness of it a little more.

So that’s it for my top 5 lips!

I know there is a bit of a dark lip theme going on and specifically a berry/plum one but I hope you like it none the less. Leave comments if you have suggestion on other blogmas posts I should do.
