A Few Of My Favourite Things: October

So as it’s the beginning of November I thought I would share my October favourites with you. I tried to narrow it down to one thing for each category (I failed with lips… oops). I can’t promise there will be the same categories every time but I am going to try and do a favourites every month.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Paprika and Chilli
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nails – Paprika and Chilli

I know technically this is two things but I classed it as one because it’s not just these colours I’ve been loving it’s the nail varnish line. It lasts really long on the nails and has such an amazing finish I’ve just been drawn to this throughout the month.

MUA
Rimmel Moisture Renew – Dark Night Water-oops
MUA Lipstick - Shade 1

For lips as I said before I couldn’t decide between these two. I have been loving wearing a darker lip and these two have been the two I’ve been gravitating towards.
The Rimmel one is more of a purple shade and I often just apply this with a brush and leave it because that makes it less dramatic.
The MUA lipstick is more of a dark red and even though it’s not the matte line I would say it is more matte than anything else.

Make Up Revolution Redemption Palette – Iconic 3

This has been my go-to eye shadows simply because there is so many looks you can get with this one palette and I love all the colours. This is so cheap as well but amazing quality!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation - 100 Ivory

For a long time I was going off using foundation, I hated the way it felt on my skin it just felt heavy and made my skin feel blah. I then heard that this is a good coverage foundation and light weight so I decided to give it a go and omg it renewed my love of foundation. I wouldn’t say the coverage is high but it’s definitely decent and it is super lightweight.
Primark 'Snood'

I am a serious scarf lover and these are just amazing. These are just light weight cotton material scarfs so they wouldn’t be something that I would necessarily wear during the winter but for the autumn they are perfect and so versatile. I have the wine and black colours but there are tons of colours available and there only around the £3 mark I think so definitely value for money.

Yankee Candle Tart Burner - From Asda

I may have mentioned this before but I adore candles in the autumn. Don’t get me wrong I love candles all year round but in the autumn there are so many great autumnal scents that I just get obsessed and end up with wayyyyy to many!
This is a great way I’ve found to stop myself from spending ridiculous amounts on candles. Each tart is only £1-2 depending where you get them so I can get as many as I want and not feel guilty at all. I currently have the last of a Halloween one burning (not sure what it’s called but it’s the white one) which is why it looks like there’s nothing in there.

My last favourite is something that has been a huge part of my life not for around 2 months and that is Slimming world. I plan on doing a whole post on this when I get to the 3 month mark so I won’t go into too much detail but I’ve been loving the change in lifestyle and the results that I’ve been getting.

So that’s my favourites for this month hope you enjoyed, I’d love to hear your favourites in the comments.
