So finally I have part
3 of my summer lips series. It is a little later than I had planned
but I forgot about end of month posts so had to postpone this!
This time it is the
turn of the trusty £1 MUA Lipsticks. Out of my whole lipstick
collection I actually think MUA is the most popular brand and
possible my most used as well (and their only £1?!?!?!).
These lipsticks have a
great feel on the lips and also have pretty good staying power! I
find that the colour does fade over a few hours but when you go to
reapply there is still at least a hint of colour there!
For this post I've
picked out the 4 I think are the most summery shades.
Shade 2 is a light
pearl finish pinky purple colour.
Coral Flush is a lovely
coral red with a glossy finish.
Persian Rose is a very
bright pink. I actually brought this on a whim and its one of my only
pink lipsticks but it is actually one of my favourites!
Shade 13 is a very true
red with and almost matte finish.
I hope you don't mind
that I didn't do swatches for these! With the others I found that the
colour wasn't as true to real life on the swatch photos so decided to
bypass those for this post.
