I’ve said this about a thousand times on this blog I think
but I love lipstick! So in the spirit of that love I thought I would do a
little series of posts telling you about some of my choice lip products for
summer. I’m going to call it Summer Lips because I’m so very creative!
First up are the Bourjois Rouge Edition lip products. I
thought since they have recently released the aqua version I would do a mini comparison
as well as tell you what I like about them.
I’ve spoke about the Velvet edition of these before and I absolutely
love them. The staying power is amazing and they aren’t so matte that they make
my lips look really dry (which they are!)
I have 3 of the velvet ones but one is very much not a
summer lip colour so thought I’d just stick to Peach Club and Hot pepper for
this post.
I am actually rubbish at describing colours so thought I would
let the pictures do the talking when it came to that!

I only have one of the Aqua Laque version and that is Viens
Si Tu Roses. This is the darker of the 2 rose shades in the line.

I have found that compared with the velvet version the aqua
ones last a shorter amount of time but I had expected that. The colour payoff
is just as good as their counterparts and I love how moisturising these are!
As to which to go for I honestly think it would depend on
the occasion. If I was going for a meal or drinks I would probably pick the
velvet version however for a general day I would probably choose the aqua
version.
