Red Hair │ Feat. Colour B4

My new red hair!

You may not know this but I am a little bit of a hair dye addict. Having dyed my hair since I was 13/14 I haven’t seen my natural hair colour in a LONG time. In November I dyed it as close as I think I could get to my natural colour and decided to grow it out (this been the fourth time I had tried) I did pretty well for me lasting a whole 3 months however I have once again decided I wanted a new colour and have given up growing it out… oops.
So I decided to use colour b4 to strip the colour I had in even though it wasn’t that dark a colour and red probably would have been fine over it I hate having build-up of dye in my hair so prefer to use this to give a fresh base for the hair dye and as light of a base colour as I can get without bleach.
Even though I had the extra strength and it says it needs to be left on for 60 minutes I only left it for 40 because I didn’t want to lighten my hair to much or dry it out. I was actually pleasantly surprised that it didn’t leave my hair dry at all and probably would have been fine for the 60 minutes.
Although the smell is awful I really like this product and it’s not too much hard work which is a win for me.

For the red I used Garnier ultra colour in Fiery Red number 6.60. The red didn't turn out as light as I wanted however I still love it and think I may be keeping it for a while maybe even trying to get the lighter red I wanted in a few months’ time when it’s time for a re-dye.
